What is AFT 420 Acne?

How does AFT 420 Acne Work?
The acne-causing bacteria known as Propionibacterium acnes release porphyrins, which are group of organic compounds produced by hemoglobin metabolism. The AFT 420 Acne emits intense blue wavelengths in the range of 420-950 nm that target porphyrins in the area. When porphyrins absorb the blue light, free radical damage is produced and rapidly destroys the bacteria without causing any damage to the surrounding tissue.
