What is the Syneron Emax LV?

The Syneron Emax LV (Leg Veins) is equipped with ELOS (Electro-Optical Synergy) technology that utilizes a unique combination of diode laser (light) energy, conducted radio frequency (RF) and contact cooling. This state-of-the-art technology allows the Syneron Emax LV to selectively target vascular lesions and leg veins up to a size of 4 mm. The handpiece works on all skin types and colors.

How does the Syneron Emax LV Work?

During the treatment, the handpiece cools the skin upon contact. The laser energy is then emitted which heats the abnormal blood vessel causing the lesion and unsightly veins. RF is drawn toward the heated target tissue and both energies work to attack the internal and external structures of the abnormal blood vessel. As a result, the damaged blood vessel shrinks and breaks into fragments, reducing its appearance significantly. Simultaneously, the Syneron Emax LV handpiece cools the skin during the disintegration process in order to avoid burn injuries or overtreatment. Over time, the broken blood vessel fragments are naturally eliminated by the cells of the immune system, revealing a smoother, aesthetically pleasing skin. For optimal results, additional treatments may be necessary in order to completely destroy the root cause of the vascular lesion and leg veins.
